- Signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia
- Types of diabetes
- Glucometer calibration
- Capillary blood glucose testing
- Insulin administration by injection pen and pre-prepared syringe
- Hypoglycemia protocol
Success criteria
Demonstrate mastery of techniques; Attend and participate in the entire course; Obtain a passing grade of 80% on the written knowledge assessment.
